Lead Flight Test Engineer
The Role:
We are looking for an exceptional Flight Test Engineer to join our team to contribute to the flight testing of our cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In this position, you will work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure that the UAVs meet performance and safety requirements. You will also be responsible for designing, planning, and executing flight tests, analyzing test data, and providing feedback to the design team and ensuring the security of the tests.
Your daily duties:
- Design, plan, and execute flight tests for UAVs, including ground tests and flight tests.
- Analyze and interpret test data to provide feedback to the design team.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards.
- Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure the security of the tests
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in flight testing and/or unmanned systems.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and control systems.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards (Desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent spanish and english language skills are essential, any other language would be beneficial
